Washington State has become world known for their Merlots and this exquisite wine is no exception, illustrating two of the finest vineyards located within Red Mountain AVA. The wine is well-balanced, structured and rich; aged 28 months in 50% new French oak and 50% neutral oak. The wine offers an opulent dark garnet hue with complex aromas of rich espresso, barrel spices and a whisper of elegant dark chocolate. refined, concentrated flavors of fig and dark currant on the palette, the wine is accented by savory herbs and hints of earth while being soft and polished. The wine is opulent, with gracious tannins and captivating fruit that will age gracefully while continuing to develop for years to come. Drink now through 2033.
