This 100% Syrah is an authentic expression of Ciel du Cheval vineyard’s terroir. This limited production, single-vineyard wine succeeds beyond all measures and is allocated exclusively to our wine club members.  Having intense character the wine is dense, rich and refined while bringing out the concentration from the low yielding old vines. Gracefully complex with refined aromas of black cherry and smoky, wild berry fruit it offers a polished texture that build toward supple and distinctive tannins.  The wine is riveting and well structured, offering layers of extraordinary fruit with black pepper and earthy notes that come together in a long and harmonious finish.  Dazzling the wine brings immediate appeal but also offers plenty of cellaring potential.
